We offer an outdoor mobile braai (BBQ) catering service ready for all types of events and occasions. Come sunshine, rain or snow – we braai! We use traditional, South African methods of braaing which is over an open fire lit with a mixture of authentic and genuine African hardwoods. The Kameeldoring and Seklebos wood we use for the braai smokes and enhances the flavour of our meats and leaving you with that truly authentic taste of South African food.

A braai is all about having a good time and catching up with people. It’s an event with a combination of everything we’re all big fans of; being with our family and friends eating fantastic food! We’re well-known in the UK to be that very good excuse to have us over for a braai. Whatever the occasion – if it’s a wedding braai, anniversary braai, an Easter, Christmas or birthday braai, a going away or welcome home braai, a Saturday night ‘just to get a few friends together’ braai – we take the hassle out of you doing it yourselves so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the hospitality whilst in the company of those you love.

There is a menu to suit all taste buds, budgets and occasions. Don’t worry about the kids – if they are under 10, they eat half price.

We arrive, set up, and braai a feast for you and your family and friends.

When you are completely satisfied that all your guests have been fed to their hearts content – we clean up, pack up and leave you with a smile on your face. Simple!

Born in 2009, we’ve catered in the gardens of many private homes, fields and wedding venues across the UK. We’ve also delivered catering events for some of South Africa’s and the UK’s largest corporate companies such as Allianz Insurance, Investec Bank, O2, Canon, Marks & Spencer and many more.

All of our events have had their own fantastically unique experiences and have left friends, colleagues and guests talking about the mouth-watering taste of our braai and how it brings that bit of South Africa to the UK.

South Africans absolutely love good food and are experts at preparing and cooking it. Within our selection of menus, we’ve got authentic South African dishes all of which are freshly cooked and prepared on the day for maximum flavour and satisfaction.

My wife first stumbled across Bring and Braai using a very vague google search – braai catering uk – in an attempt to find a way to bring a taste of South Africa to our wedding day. I was skeptical at first, this being the first time I’d ever hired catering, and my high standards as a (albeit more British now) South African, but boy am I glad that I didn’t counter her decision. These guys know what they are doing! Any quiet moans of “what about the traditional wedding breakfast…” quickly went out the window the second Rodney’s cooking was on their plates. Before we knew it there was nothing left and the cries of baie lekker could be heard everywhere. Thankfully we’d made the wise decision to order some evening times boerie rolls which also went down a treat with the guests. Beyond the food the service leading up to the day was impeccable. Mark was on the ball with every query, quibble and quandary that we had (and believe me there were a few). On the day Rodney was as much apart of the wedding as anyone else, socialising with the guests while still maintaining complete control of his work space. The staff he brought along were also friendly and professional.
